April and Cody’s Wedding
I went to April and Cody’s wedding this weekend and it was a blast. The venue already came with a photographer so I didn’t need to shoot. Unfortunately, I don’t think I know how to attend an event without taking pictures anymore, haha. Even though I managed to get a few shots, I did my best to stay out of the photographer’s way so he could do his job. I wanted to travel light so I only packed the 5D Mark II and my new 24mm f/1.4. I figured I’d be needing a wide angle the majority of the wedding but I could have used a longer lens a couple of times. The 24mm did a great job though, I look forward to using it in future events. The background blur it produces gives the image an interesting 3D like effect. It’s a bit soft wide open but sharp enough in most cases. Anyways, that’s enough camera talk. Congratulations April and Cody! I hope you guys are having a blast in Hawaii.

Thank you, Thank you for these photos! I was so excited to see pictures from the wedding, and these really capture the spirit of the moment, almost like being there. We so appreciate these candid pictures! Wish I could have been there, but at least we have a feel for the excitement thanks to you!
