Baby Lea: 8 Months

That’s right folks, time is flying and Baby Lea is  8 months.  I took the fambam to Huntington beach pier, unfortunately it was freezing.  What happened to the 90 degree weather we had last week?  We had to rush the shoot a little because I didn’t want baby girl to get sick.  You can’t tell from the photos but she was soo cold.  I’m pretty happy with the session though.  I love shooting people on location because they’re a lot more relaxed and there’s more of a chance to capture those special moments.

These guys were super fun to shoot.  They were very quick to laugh which made my job easy.  Thanks goes to Moe and John who came all the way down to help out.  We only had about an hour or so to shoot because they have crazy work schedules.  Luckily, we made the best of our time out there and came back with some great shots.  I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this October.  Congrats on the engagement guys, enjoy the photos.

I gotta tell you, I was a bit worried about how this shoot was going to go.  Mainly because I’ve never seen a photo of Andy where he wasn’t making a goofy face or flippin the camera the bird, haha.  Luckily, the shoot went awesome.  As you can see, these two make a great couple and I can’t wait for their wedding.  There were a lot of great shots from this session but my favorite had to be the one with the asian mob running by.  I was trying to find a busy walkway where I could toy with a slow exposure.  It wasn’t looking good until somebody recognized Andy and he happened to be rolling with about 20 people, haha.  Long story short, we had our own personal asian mob to command :)   But enough of my ranting, on to the pics

Almost forgot, thanks to Shari for assisting with the lighting, Ronald for assisting with equipment, and Rienne for watching our child and feeding him corn, haha.

Baby Hayden is here!  And yes, I wanted to bite him, haha.  Here he is still in the belly, Hope’s Maternity shoot.  Anyways, Hayden did great for his first time.  He’s not really smiling for me yet, but he was close.  I’m getting cheese at the next shoot for sure :)   In either case, we got some cute shots of this buddha baby and I look forward to photographing him again.  Thanks again to Mel and Hope for having me over.  See ya next time.

So I borrowed this pink chair for the shoot with the intention of shooting it indoors studio style.  Turns out, it was such a nice day, we shot outside.    Lea loved being outside, as you can see from all the smiles.  She liked the chair too, but unfortunately that’s going back.  I’d keep it for future shoots but we barely have enough room for all of Orion’s stuff.  Thanks goes to Mike and Junie for helping out with the shoot.  Holding a diffuser in the wind is not easy :)   Great teamwork as always.

Baby Aaron: 3 months

Baby Aaron has gotten big since his first shoot with me.  This time we did the whole shoot using natural light at Auntie Joyce’s house, thanks Auntie Joyce :)   Anyways, my goal with this shoot was to get some shots of the “not so little” guy smiling.  And because I didn’t have to wait for the strobes to recycle, I was able to shoot away and grab the ever elusive, and sometimes fleeting, smile.   I was even able to get a few with Aaron rockin the hat and tie I brought.  Watch out ladies.  This guys out to break some hearts.

What an awesome party!  Everyone at this wedding was having a blast, as you can tell by some of the crazy photos, haha.  Thanks for letting me be part of your special day guys.  I wish you both all the happiness that life can offer.  Special shout out going to Kristina Ruiz (previously Reyes, congrats to her too) for helping me shoot this wedding, you rock!

Baby Lea: Baptism

This month’s shoot happened to coincide with Lea’s baptism so it worked out great.  Baby Lea is blessed with a very loving family.  I was able to get a lot of great photos.  Thanks for letting me share Lea’s special day with you guys.  By the way, the food at the party was delish :)   Compliments to the chef.

In Lea’s defense, the weird headgear was my idea, haha.  We decided to go with a July 4th type of theme because Mom wanted to send some pictures out next month. We got some cute ones, but it’s kind of hard not to when you’re taking pictures of Baby Lea.  Even if she is wearing a weird fireworks headband thingy.
