In Lea’s defense, the weird headgear was my idea, haha.  We decided to go with a July 4th type of theme because Mom wanted to send some pictures out next month. We got some cute ones, but it’s kind of hard not to when you’re taking pictures of Baby Lea.  Even if she is wearing a weird fireworks headband thingy.

Met this cute baby the first time last week.  His name is Aaron and you guys will be seeing lots of him as well.  He did pretty good for his first shoot and I’m sure they’ll only get better.  I’m already missing the days when my little guy was this small and he’s only 14 months, haha.  I guess that’s why people have more than one kid huh

Lea’s 4 month’s now, I know, time flies.  She’s getting stronger and I wouldn’t be surprised if she was sitting up all by herself in the next photoshoot.  Mom had the idea to dress her in a tutu for this time around and it was as cute as it gets.  Her other outfit was a fancy number that made her look like one of those collector porcelain dolls.  It was from Saks Fifth Ave and probably cost more than my whole wardrobe, haha.  Anyways, Lea was in an awesome mood.  She was quick to smile and with some help from Mom, we were able to grab a lot of great shots.

These two make a great couple.  They had an unusual suggestion for where to shoot their engagement pics, their old high school.  A little different from my usual spots but I’m always up for a challenge.  Anyways, April and Victor were super easy to shoot.  They were very natural and quick to smile.  That is, after a little Montell Jordan karaoke on my part, haha.  Victor told me “Falling” by Montell Jordan was playing in the background as he expressed his feelings to April the first time.  Brings you back huh?  Remember “Somethin’ for the honeys” and “This is how we do it”, Montell was tight man haha.  Anyways, congrats to April and Victor, I’ll see you at your wedding.

Time is flying and Lea’s 3 months now.  Here she was at 2 months. With Easter around the corner, we decided to go with the whole basket theme for this shoot.  Junie even acquired some green plastic grass for us, awesome.  Dominic was feeling left out after the last shoot so we took some shots with him as well.  Unfortunately, Lea was feeling a bit tired so we settled for few cute sleeping pictures.  I think we got some good shots though.  I managed to grab a couple smiles before she knocked out.  Enjoy.

My little guy is a little closer to walking.  He’s still a little wobbly but he’s getting there.  I know he’s going to be more of a handful when he starts walking, but I can’t wait.  Refresh the page if the video doesn’t load.

Mel’s an old buddy of mine.  I shot his car a while back.  350z Photoshoot This shoot was a little different.  Instead of the Z, I was shooting his family and there were no automotive rigs hanging off of Mel’s wife, haha.  (Note to self:  Look into rig shot from belly’s perspective.)  But all joking aside, Mel’s got a beautiful family and I enjoyed photographing them.  Hope, it was nice meeting you.  I wish you all the best with your pregnancy.  Here’s my favorites from the shoot:

Congrats guys!  These two make a great couple.  I had a great time shooting them.  They were very easy to work with.  They had their wedding at the Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach, beautiful venue.  I only wish I had a little more time to shoot in the natural light.  Because the venue is in the canyon, it gets dim pretty quickly, even with the recent time change.  Nothing a flash and a few fast primes didn’t fix though.  I was able to capture a lot of great moments.  I wish these two the best in their new life together.  Here’s a few of my favs from the wedding.

My little guy is getting big.  While I love taking pictures, I’ve got to make sure I take some time to watch this guy grow up.  It seems like it’s happening so fast.  I’m still going to try and take pictures of him every month.  Even though he’s definitely a mama’s boy, he’s always going to be my little dork.  Until he becomes a big dork that is, haha.  Thanks to Andy Suh for holding Orion in one of the shots.  And no, he isn’t the guy with the small hands from the Burger King commercial.  Just playin Andy, haha.

Here’s Lea again, another month cuter.  I told you you’d be seeing a lot of her.  Remember her last shoot. It was Lea’s Great Grandma’s last day in town, so we were able to get a couple shots with her as well. I was a little bit more fortunate this time around capturing the ever elusive smile. I found out that Lea loves compliments. I talked her up about her eyes and she was putty in my hands, haha. Not really, but luckily Dad was there to coax a couple twinkles my way. Anyways, enough jibber jabber, on to the photos. Enjoy.
